Curve Mapper · VJ Eire

In 3D

Drag the orange figure to move the viewer: in top view across the floor (aerial), in side view forward, back, up and down (side profile), in front view sideways, up and down. Drag anywhere else to turn the view, scroll or pinch to zoom, right-drag to move. Front, top and side are near-flat views, like a drawing. The figure is 1.75 m.

Output no output window

The output window shows this frame at one pixel per pixel, top left. Put it on the display that feeds your LED processor or projector and click it to go full screen. To send it over NDI, capture that window with NDI Screen Capture or OBS.

Use it in other software

TouchDesigner
Save the UV map and the script into your project folder. In TouchDesigner, make a Text DAT, load the script, right-click it, Run Script. It builds content → Remap TOP (the UV map in its second input) → out, using TouchDesigner's own operators. Point cm_content at your video.
Notch
Composite Image post effect: your content in Image, the UV map through a Video Loader into UV Remap Image. Notch's manual doesn't say which way up it reads v: if the picture comes out upside down, flip the map vertically. The 3D model (OBJ) also loads into Notch for previz.
Resolume
Not yet: Resolume has no UV-map input. Its native route is an Advanced Output slice file, one slice per panel, coming next. Meanwhile capture Resolume's output here as "Screen or window" and send this page's output window to the wall.
What the map is
For each pixel you send, red is where across the content to read (0 left, 1 right) and green where up (0 bottom, 1 top); alpha is 0 where nothing lands. LED: the size of the pixel map. Projector: the size of the projector frame. With Perspective or Parallel mapping chosen, that mapping is baked in.

Joints, left to right as you face the wall

A joint is where two panels meet. Joints you have changed from the common angle are outlined.
